Welcome!
"When we encourage children to talk about their feelings, we give them wings to soar above their fears." - a.a. Fred Rogers
Dear Teachers, parents and students,
we are delighted to welcome you to the homepage of the research project InSel. InSel stands for "Recognizing Internalizing Symptoms and Responding Professionally" and is an important project dedicated to promoting the mental health of children.
On our website you will find comprehensive information on our project and on internalizing behavioral problems in children.
23 schools took part in our project, with a total of 340 children from years 5, 6 and 7. We are currently developing a training course for teachers to help them identify mental health problems in pupils at an early stage and provide appropriate support.
We would like to thank all the participants for their interest and commitment. Together, we have made an important contribution to better support for children with mental health problems.
